CruSense

Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 July 2026

CruSense is a wine cellar and food-pairing app. This policy explains what it stores, why, and how to get rid of it. It is deliberately short, because the app collects little.

The short version. Your email and your cellar, stored so the app works and syncs to your devices. No advertising, no analytics, no tracking, no selling data to anyone. Delete your account and it all goes.

What is collected

DataWhy
Email address To create your account and sign you in. Handled by Supabase, our database and authentication provider.
Your cellar
bottles, vintages, notes, drink windows, storage layout, preferences
It is the content of the app. Stored so it survives reinstalls and appears on your other devices.
Photos you take
wine labels, storage units
Label photos are sent to our server to be read and turned into a bottle entry. Storage photos are stored so your cellar map can show them.

What is not collected

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to make the app work:

Where it is stored

On servers in the EU, plus a copy on your own device so the app works offline.

How long it is kept

Until you delete it. Deleting a bottle removes it; deleting your account removes everything associated with it. There is no archival copy kept for our benefit.

Your rights

You can export your cellar from within the app at any time. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, export, or erase your data — email the address below and it will be handled.

Children

CruSense is a wine app and is not intended for anyone under the legal drinking age in their country. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the new version appears here before it takes effect.
